- Severe, excruciating pain:This pain is also called Renal colic and is known to be the worst pain sensations known. The pain radiates from the plank to the groin or the inner thigh and is usually intermittent lasting between 20 seconds to a minute.
- Passing of blood in urine: There are many reasons of blood in urine. However, if there is pain accompanied with blood, it could be a kidney stone. The blood occurs because of the stone rubbing the inside walls of the urethra.
- Difficulty in passing urine: The stones could obstruct the urinary passage. The obstruction of urine could lead to Kidney infection and if untreated, in some cases, Kidney damage.
Other symptoms accompanying this pain could be
- Cloudy and smelly urine
- An urgency to pass urine
- Restlessness
- Chills and fever
- Sweating
- Nausea, vomiting
